- Govindchandra Gahadavala
- (?-1155)The third Gaha-davala ruler of Kanauj, Govindchandra, who succeeded his father, Madanapala, in 1112, is regarded as the greatest ruler of the dynasty because of the large extant of his domains. His rule extended in the east to Patna and south to the frontier of the Kalachuri kingdom.
